Ugh, tough game to swallow. I agree that the second Rangers goal made the second D pairing look like a couple of pylons. |

I believe Seids and Dougie were playing together earlier in the Year, probably because of Injury though, I absolutely LOVE the Lone Wolf but having him play top 4 minutes does expose the skating part of his game, and playing with a non-mobile partner like Seids maybe not the greatest Fit. I'd keep Bart right where he Is on the 7th floor.
I really do think they need a part or two here, If you get a Top 4 D-man then forget about adding scoring up front, they can't have Both
What's Up Boys. do we want a Top 4 D-man or a 1st Line RW ?????
I want the 1st Line Power Forward RW, ala Nathan Horton |

Seidenberg's contract is just dreadful.
Unfortunately his last injury has aged his game considerably. I wonder if the word is out on him? They should package him to a team in desperate need of a dman. A package to Philly for Simmonds would be awesome!
Seidenberg, & Prospect, 2nd round pick for Simmonds
From there Bos needs to bring in a quicker replacement. Maybe the pitch for Yandle at that point.

Arizona wants the world and more for Yandle. Heard the starting price was a young roster player, top prospect, and 1st rounder.
I wouldnt mind the move to philly you mentioned, but if we move Seids we need to bring in another D man. Personally I would rather move McQuaid+ for someone like Petry in EDM. Gives a more versatile look to that second line. (petry was just the first name that came to mind, there are a few really good fits to look at.) |

Petry
I like McQuaid because he is tough. Boston did start rolling in January when he was back in the lineup. He makes the other team accountable, someone ran Paille one game off the draw and McQuaid attacked the other player and beat him up. Bos was soft to start the season and I think McQuaid gives them an edge in toughness they sorely need. I think he is a lock as a 6th dman on this club.
I hear yah on the asking prices. I would hate to give up a 1st in this draft. Ultimately Pete will hang onto his picks and no flashy moves will be made. Possibly a 2nd round or 3rd round pick will be dealt. I think there will be little movement at the deadline as teams don't want to part with the picks. |

I could see PC giving away one of the second round picks we got in the Johnny B trade, and like you said maybe a 3rd rounder. I know PC is high on Seids, so I honestly cant see him getting dealt.
Like it or not, this is what we may be stuck with as far as D goes. I think PC goes hunting for additional depth scoring for a playoff run at the deadline, and maybe one more depth D man in case of injury. He likes to rest the star players (mainly chara) right before the playoffs.
On a positive note, liking what Hamilton is bringing this year. He has his bad games but you can tell he is picking up the game so much better. |

Spot On my friend, Lone Wolf makes 1.5 something like that, your not moving him right now, HE is the Team Toughness on the Blue Line.
Forget about Yandle, and Please stop the Petry Talk, NOT a top 4 on this Team, Does anyone remember all the Goals the B's were giving up earlier in the Season, Guys planted Right in front of Rask, THAT is not happening anymore, Chara clears the Net for the 1st Pair and McQuaid clears the Net on the 2nd pairing Seids is a problem right now, He is Too Slow because of that Knee Injury it's obvious he is not close to 100% and the Quicker Teams are exploiting it, They will be fine finishing the Season but in the Playoffs that could be a Deadly Problem |

Definitely like Petry. Look at the effect going from Edm to Crosby's line had on Perron. Moving Petry from Edm to Bostons d corps would have a similar effect. I think he's a good player.
As far as the 4th line, I don't see how they can make it better. I think Greg Campbells the weak link and I don't think the B's will move him. If you had Chris Kelly/ Boyd Gordon/ Steve Ott centering Paille and Cunningham that would be a very strong 4th |

Would just like to see a move for a depth D man who can fill in IF either Seids or McQuaid goes down. Seids is slowed by injury, and it might be wise to let him see more rest towards the end of the season leading into the playoffs. McQuaid is injury prone, so a depth D man with a modest cap hit would just be a smart insurance policy moving forward. |

I don't think he sucks. But after the knee, you can tell he has lost a step. He is still effective. |

Yup. Seids is a bit too slow now. This is disastrous against MTL. Chara/Seids/Mcquaid could get exposed being too flat footed.
I think they could use a quick skating puck mover. Doesn't have to be overly offensive, but someone that can move the puck quickly out of the D zone.

I think everyone expected him to have a slow start after blowing his knee out last year, (Except the guy who traded Boychuk) Hoping he can return to where he was before the Injury, but that might be asking too much. |

What would you guys think of Neil joining the group, play 3rd or 4th line, cheaper alternative than Kassian probably same production. |

My problems not with him as much as it's with pairing him with an even slower guy. He needs a quicker guy to help him out back there. |

Eh, I mean, if they wanna add some physicality to that bottom-six, I still want Kassian over Neil. |

as far as Campbell goes, every NHL player should be a 'good tipper'. There's absolutely no logical reason why he should be out there over marchy, carl, lucic, etc |
